Laundry room and bottom of stairs at far right. On the right with the drywall and the framing at the bottom of the stairs. You can also see the patching done to the main support beam from both sides.

This is under the stairs, with the fuse box. The one on the right is after the supporting legs had been shored up.

Here is the bottom of the stairs all framed and insulated as well as the sliding door frame for the furnace room, on the right is the bottom of the stairs with drywall.

Here are the new temporary stairs with the new bottom platform, the drywall is up in behind it and the laundry room cabinet/sink without the top on it.

This is the tiling in the laundry room, just before and just after the grout was applied, these are slate tiles and will be put at the bottom of the stairs and up to the entrances to the office and furnace room as well.

This is the base of the cabinet for the laundry room in place (notice the gas pipe and the dryer duct we didn't use) and the doors for the furnace room hanging in place.

To get an idea how big the cabinet is here is Mark inside it, the picture on the left has the sink cover in place so we can have a big flat surface to work on.

The cabinets are now in place, the connections have all been made and tested out. Heck we even have a soap dispenser for the sink. Great detail of the dry connections alcove we came up with so you don't have to bend over to the bottom of the dryer to make final connections.

The tiling was done in four stages, at right is the storage area under the stairs before tiling
