HOPE 2002 came off very much like 2001, rain in the morning followed by sun in the afternoon. Well ok, then we had more rain in the afternoon and there was the thunder that kept everyone on their toes waiting for the lighting to start (and the tournament to end).

Most people had a good time, some had a better time than others. Our only injury went to Michael falling on his butt while chasing a frisbee. He was lucky however, only 4 patrollers attended him, although I think they were there more to laugh at him than to help him.

The HOPE organizers managed to get 384 teams signed up, that's over 3000 people. A huge change from even 4 years ago when the teams were under 200. We hope to join them again next year.
