| This is a collection of shots as the bathroom was put together. It starts with shots of the basement wall being underpinned, moving to the gravel below the concrete and on to thhe first framing shots.
The floor of the bathroom was raised about an 1" by using self leveling cement. You can see the hole cut in the floor to accommodate the drain for the tub.
Bathroom, south west corner, bathtub enclosure, shower is on the right.
Tub enclosure with the tiles in place (nice blue eh!), to the right the tub is in place and all connections have been made! Heck the water even works.
Here is the shower stall before and after tiling
Here is the nice tile floor
The cabinets are now in place as is the floor heating mat, floor tile and window is finished. At right is the new counter top, with the nicely tiled back splash, all the water is hooked up and working.
The glass block is now in.
All the tile has been grouted, and here is the shower stall with all the glass installed.
Here are the mirrors over the vanity
Here is the door during assembly, the door is hand made with a wood veneer on the back of the mirror, you can see the detail of the rail/stile joint on the end of the door. Very slick work if I say so myself.
The window with trim and the new door in the bathroom with trim as well. The office cabinets are still in the bathroom at the time of the picture.
Here
is the finished door and the almost finished area behind the toilet, we have
decided to tile behind it. Here
is the finished window, it's a little dusty but it's finished, the toilet area
is now tiled Everything is done, even the magazine racks are in place |
